Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering, University of Calabria, Italy.

Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering (University of Calabria), where he is Department Deputy for Research and Technology Transfer Activities and Head of the Dynamics of Mechanical Systems (DMS) division of Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (MECH-LAB).

He is member of the Technical Committees for Linkages and Mechanical Control and for Gearing and Transmissions of IFToMM (the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science), and Associate Editor of Mechanism and Machine Theory journal.

His current research interests are vehicle dynamics, geared power transmissions and mechanical vibrations, with a focus on N&V behaviour of advanced materials. He is involved in several research projects with other academic and industrial partners and was coordinator of the two FP7 Marie Curie projects DEMETRA, on the design of mechanical transmissions, and INTERACTIVE, on vehicle concept modelling, both in collaboration with the University of Leuven and Siemens Industry Software in Belgium.
