Gokhan Kiper has been conducting research on mechanism design methods, kinematic design of deploy-able structures and parallel robot manipulators since 2004. He is currently an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering at İzmir Institute of Technology. He has authored over 80 papers on mechanism design and has 6 registered patents on novel mechanisms. Dr. Kiper is a member of Technical Committee for Computational Kinematics and Technical Committee for Linkages and Mechanical Controls. He was awarded the title of IFToMM Fellow in 2019.
